Community Partnership Development Corporation

The Community Partnership Development Corporation, a 501(c)3 corporation and affiliate of the Housing Partnership Development Corporation, was established in 1989 to help New York City achieve its housing and economic development goals by leveraging private sector resources, securing public approvals and financing and working with community groups and others on neighborhood revitalization efforts.

CPDC’s key activity is the provision of no-interest predevelopment loans to small builders and developers of affordable housing in New York City. The loans have supported the creation of more than 2,500 new, affordable units in New York City and have enabled the community-based developers to leverage more than $200 million in private construction financing.

Currently, CPDC has 1.6 Million Dollars to offer as loans .These  loans will promote the business growth of builders, including small, minority-owned contractors who need assistance with equity contributions and predevelopment costs. CPDC expects its loans will contribute to the development of more than 800 homes or 1,000 new affordable and workforce housing units in NYC neighborhoods. These projects are expected to leverage millions of dollars in public and private sector resources. They will also create hundreds of construction jobs.
